Stories & Memories Overview

The Stories & Memories section is a place for family members to share personal experiences, meaningful moments, and reflections that help preserve our family history. These stories bring our past to life and help future generations understand who we are.

What You Can Do in Stories & Memories

  • Read Stories — Browse stories shared by family members. Public stories are visible to everyone; private stories require login.
  • Share Your Own Story — Write about a memory, event, or personal experience and share it with the family.
  • Add Photos — Attach a photo to your story to make it more vivid and personal.
  • Tag Your Story — Add tags to help others find related stories.
  • React & Comment — Leave reactions or comments to engage with other family members’ stories.

Public vs. Private Stories

When you create a story, you can choose whether it is public or private:

  • Public Stories — Visible to everyone, including visitors who are not logged in.
  • Private Stories — Only visible to logged‑in family members.

This gives you full control over how widely your story is shared.

Story Verification

Some stories may be marked as Verified by an administrator. This simply means the story has been reviewed for clarity, accuracy, or historical value. Verification is optional and does not affect visibility.

Why Stories Matter

Stories help us remember the moments that shaped our family — the big events, the small details, and everything in between. Whether it’s a childhood memory, a funny moment, or a meaningful life experience, your story becomes part of our shared history.
