Commenting on Stories
Comments allow family members to respond to stories, share additional details, ask questions, or simply join the conversation. They help bring stories to life and make the Stories & Memories section feel interactive and personal.
How to Comment on a Story
- Open any story in the Stories & Memories section.
- Scroll to the Comments section at the bottom of the page.
- Type your comment in the comment box.
- Click Post Comment to submit it.
Who Can Comment?
- Logged‑in family members can comment on any story.
- Visitors who are not logged in may also comment, depending on the story’s settings.
All comments are displayed beneath the story in the order they were posted.
Adding Photos to Comments
You can attach a photo to your comment to add context or share a related memory. Photos are uploaded through the same system used for story photos and appear directly within your comment.
Editing or Deleting Comments
At this time, comments cannot be edited after posting. If you need a comment removed, please contact the site administrator.
How Comments Are Displayed
- Comments appear in a simple list beneath the story.
- Each comment shows the name of the person who posted it (or “Guest” for anonymous visitors).
- Comments include the date and time they were posted.
- Photos appear directly inside the comment if included.
Why Comments Matter
Comments help turn stories into conversations. They allow family members to add missing details, share their own memories, or simply show appreciation. Over time, comments help build a richer, more complete picture of our shared history.
