Managing Photo Albums
The Manage Galleries page allows administrators to organize, update, and maintain all photo albums in the Photo Gallery. This includes editing album details, deleting albums, and managing photos inside each album.
Only users with Admin permissions can access the Manage Galleries page.
What You Can Do on This Page
- Edit album names and descriptions
- Delete albums
- Open an album to manage its photos
- Reorder photos inside an album (if supported)
- Review album visibility or privacy settings (if enabled)
Editing an Album
To update an album’s details:
- Find the album in the list.
- Click the Edit button.
- Update the album name or description.
- Click Save Changes.
Deleting an Album
Admins can delete albums that are no longer needed. To delete an album:
- Click the Delete button next to the album.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deleting an album removes all photos inside it, so use this option carefully.
Managing Photos Inside an Album
To manage photos:
- Click the album name to open it.
- Use the available tools to:
- Edit photo captions
- Delete photos
- Reorder photos (if supported)
- Add new photos using the Add Photos button
Album Visibility (If Enabled)
If your gallery system includes visibility settings, admins may be able to mark albums as:
- Public — Visible to all users
- Private — Visible only to logged‑in users
Visibility settings help control who can see sensitive or personal photos.
Tips for Managing the Gallery
- Use clear album names so users can find what they need.
- Delete duplicate or outdated albums to keep the gallery organized.
- Review captions for accuracy and clarity.
- Group related photos together for a better browsing experience.
