Viewing an Album
The Gallery Detail page displays all photos inside a single album. Here you can browse images, read captions, and explore the full collection of photos for an event, person, or theme.
Page Layout
Each album includes the following sections:
- Album Title — The name of the album.
- Description — Optional details about the album.
- Photo Grid — All photos in the album, shown in a responsive layout.
- Photo Viewer — Opens when you click a photo to see it larger.
- Add Photos button (if you have permission).
Browsing Photos
Photos appear in a grid layout. You can:
- Click any photo to open it in a larger view.
- Use arrows (or swipe on mobile) to move between photos.
- View captions beneath each photo.
Viewing a Photo
When you click a photo, the photo viewer opens. It may include:
- Full‑size image
- Caption — If provided
- Next/Previous navigation
- Close button to return to the album
Captions help identify people, places, and dates — add them whenever possible.
Adding Photos to the Album
If you have permission, you will see an Add Photos button at the top of the album. Clicking it allows you to upload new photos and add captions.
Editing or Deleting Photos
Admins can edit or delete photos inside an album. To do this:
- Open the photo viewer.
- Click the Edit or Delete button (if available).
Editing allows you to update captions. Deleting removes the photo from the album.
Pagination (If Enabled)
If the album contains many photos, the page may include:
- Page numbers to jump between sets of photos
- A Photos Per Page selector
This helps keep large albums fast and easy to browse.
