Creating a Photo Album
Photo albums help organize family photos into meaningful collections. You can create albums for events, people, trips, or any theme you choose. Once an album is created, you can upload photos to it and add captions or descriptions.
How to Create an Album
- Go to the Photo Gallery page.
- Click the Create Album button.
- Enter an Album Name that describes the collection.
- Optional: Add a Description to provide context or details.
- Click Create Album to save it.
You can add photos to an album immediately after creating it, or return later to upload more.
Album Name Tips
Choose a name that clearly identifies the purpose of the album. Examples include:
- Family Reunion 2024
- Grandpa’s Military Photos
- Christmas Memories
- Vacation – Yellowstone
Adding Photos to an Album
After creating an album, you can upload photos by clicking the Add Photos button inside the album. You can:
- Select multiple photos at once
- Add captions to individual photos
- Reorder photos after uploading
Editing an Album
You can update an album at any time. Inside the album, click Edit Album to change the name or description.
Deleting an Album
Admins can delete albums if needed. Deleting an album removes all photos inside it, so use this option carefully.
Tips for Organizing Albums
- Create separate albums for major events or trips.
- Use clear names so albums are easy to find later.
- Add descriptions to help family members understand the context.
- Group related photos together for a cleaner gallery.
